“I have worked in the Oncology/Haematology setting since 1985, so feel I can look back and reflect on the programme.

In all of the years I have only had positive comments from the women and their support people. Those women who claim they never wear make up have enjoyed their time experimenting with the cosmetics. Even if they never use the makeup again, the time they spend with other women, who are on a similar journey, is a valuable experience.

At a time when a woman’s view of her body has undergone a dramatic change it is wonderful to know that there are dedicated women willing to help them feel good about themselves.

From my point of view I believe that this a precious experience for our women, and I thank the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association of NZ for continuing to support this vital work”.
