Yvonne Brownlie

General Manager of the Look Good Feel Better charity in New Zealand, Yvonne Brownlie started her career in the cosmetics industry, and has remained connected to it ever since.

Starting out with hairdressing legend Vidal Sassoon in London’s Knightsbridge as a hairdresser and beauty therapist, Yvonne was fortunate to travel to the United States with him on several occasions to work with a number of Hollywood celebrities and to learn the industry inside out.

Her extensive background in the beauty industry includes her time as senior manager for global cosmetic giant L’Oreal in Australia and New Zealand. She also spent five years as Corporate Affairs Manager for BDM Grange, distributor for some of the world’s biggest and best beauty and hair products including Clarins, Gucci and Guerlain. It was during this time that Yvonne became a LGFB Workshop Volunteer.

Yvonne has been part of the LGFB family since 1998 and before taking on the role of General Manager, spent several years as the Chairperson for the Dream Ball committee.
