Vikki Lee Goode

Vikki Lee Goode is an ardent supporter of LGFB. She was first introduced to the charity by one her PR clients and later co-opted on the board of trustees for her promotional skills and fundraising abilities. During her sixteen year tenure as a trustee, Vikki Lee has also chaired the board as Penny Thompson’s immediate predecessor.

Vikki Lee is a successful PR professional with more than 25 years experience. As director of Goode PR and Goode Events she has provided expert counsel to some of the world’s most respected brands and staged some of New Zealand’s most innovative events.

She is a firm believer that successful people are those that give out and give back to those less fortunate. Her company motto is “Goode people doing great things” and that is also a philosophy she lives by when it comes to supporting good causes like Look Good Feel Better.

“It’s not hard to be enthusiastic about Look Good Feel Better when you see how effective it is in changing the lives of women with cancer,” she says. “I find it rewarding to work with and for, an organisation that is so practical and ‘hands on’ in its approach. This is a charity that is all about positivity, empowerment and facing challenges with confidence and that’s an easy thing to champion.”

As communications professional, Vikki Lee has a special interest in the ‘not for profit’ sector and cause related marketing. Her company provides PR services to things she champions – healthy eating for 5+ A day, youth engagement for Youthtown and Foundation For Youth Development and practical support and workshops for women with cancer at Look Good Feel Better.

Vikki Lee is married to Tony and the couple has a teenage son. Outside of work, she is a keen traveller with many passions and pursuits.
