John Loof

John Loof
John Loof is currently the CEO of the New Zealand Cancer Society. He has over a decade experience in the not-for-profit sector, and prior to his current role, was General Manager at the Auckland SPCA.
Before he moved into the not-for-profit industry, John was involved with project management and property development for many years, after graduating as a Civil Engineer from Auckland University.
John has a keen interest in governance, and has spent time on the SPCA Board and the Maurice Wilkins Centre for molecular bio discovery Board. He has been a trustee of Look Good Feel Better since 2005, and also sits on the Davis Carr Domain Lodge Endowment Trust and the Auckland Football Federation Board.
John is married to Monique and has two sons. An avid sports follower, John enjoys his time outside of work as a soccer coach and player.
