John Banks

John is currently the Administration Manager of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association of New Zealand, the organisation representing the New Zealand cosmetic industry. Previously, he spent 18 years on the executive committee of the CTFA, four of them as President.

In his former working life, John was the CEO of the manufacturing division of a multinational cosmetic company, Nutrimetics, where he had the distinction of manufacturing and exporting cosmetics from New Zealand to France.

John has been on the Look Good Feel Better Board since 1992, when it was launched in New Zealand. He remembers discussing the charity at a CTFA executive meeting, and deciding it was a great chance to get it up and running in New Zealand.
