Deboral Dykzeul is an ardent supporter of the Look Good Feel Better cause. She first became aware of the charity through her husband’s employer, leading New Zealand media company ACP, and having had friends and family battle cancer she was instantly drawn to the charity’s aspirations and achievements.

While not a business person, that in no way diminishes the contribution and commitment Deborah has to the Look Good Feel Better charity. As a wife and mother and an active member of the community Deborah is well aware of the impact cancer has on the lives of others.

“Look Good Feel Better is a charity that is very close to my heart. It not only helps women with cancer, it provides wonderful support to their families. A beautician friend of mine is currently fighting cancer and while she already knew a lot of the skills the course teaches she got so much out of talking with other women experiencing cancer. She received invaluable support.”

Deborah was invited to join the Look Good Feel Better board in 2007 upon returning to New Zealand after 10 years in Sydney, Australia. It was through fundraising events in Australia that Deborah met Penny Thompson who inspired her to become more closely involved in the charity.

Deborah is experienced in event fundraising and is an active member of Look Good Feel Better’s main fundraiser for the year – the gala dinner and auction.

Deborah is mother to three children and a toddler grandson. She lives on Waiheke Island and enjoys yoga, walking and fine wine and food. She travels as often as she can.
