The Look Good Feel Better NZ Services team are committed to bringing joy into the lives of women who deserve an escape from the reality of cancer treatment and illness. Every volunteer, programme facilitator, sponsors and supporters who make our work possible are all connected by a common goal and determination to make a difference. Clare oversees the running of the organisation and reports to the board on how we are doing. Some of her responsibilities include liaising with the companies that provide the products we use in our classes, acting as the voice of the participant, maintaining relationships with our sponsors, ensuring resources and funds are available to keep us going, working with others to develop the programme, organising media releases and public speaking, working with other cancer charities and last but not least she makes lots of cups of highly scented herbal teas! Today the focus is on citrus teas as she is feeling a cold coming on! She also loves attending classes as it is such a privilege to see the work everyone does.
Clare joined Look Good Feel Better New Zealand in July 2013. She comes from a strong media and marketing background and brings with her impressive management and leadership skills.

Amber is responsible for ensuring we have the income we need to meet the needs of the LGFB Programmes. This includes community fundraising, campaigns (such as Feel Better Month), recipient events, donations, partner events, and manages all our funding applications. Amber is always looking for new opportunities and creative ways to ensure we are doing all we can to fund the service. She is a powerhouse of energy and vitality, and very persuasive on the phone.

Programme Development Manager
Josy has an overview of the programme, she looks after the facilitators, makes sure our medical support channels are aware of who we are, and what we do, and she is currently trying to travel the country to meet as many of the tutors as possible. Josy was a volunteer with LGFB for many years in Melbourne and then more recently in Auckland, she has a beauty therapy tutoring background. She also has a massive secret stash of chocolate that is shared on special occasions!

Programme Services Manager
Carol is the main point of contact for all participants for 8 centres in NZ. She has been instrumental in transitioning the organisation from registrations on paper to online registrations. She receives all the online and paper registrations from the areas she is responsible for, and follows all of them up with a personal phone call. She spends many hours on the phone and hears a lot of the stories behind our participants – some of them are very sad. She handles these stories with incredible grace and dignity. She confirms bookings for the classes and ensures the packs provided to them are made up ready for each class.

Community Liaison Manager
Pip’s main area of responsibility is the LGFB volunteer team across the whole of New Zealand. This is a new role as it was recognised the team had become big enough to need a central point of contact. She is the person responsible for communicating with the wider team and making sure the volunteers know what is happening within the organisation.
The Volunteer Coordinators are still the primary point of contact for volunteers in each area, but Pip is here to provide support to them. Pip’s background is actually in animal welfare and outside of work Pip has a garage full of rabbits and guinea pigs that she absolutely adores

Accounts and Office Administration
Helen is the glue that holds the team here in Auckland together, she does what is necessary to keep the office running as smoothly as possible. She is always there when we need her and gives excellent advice. She is unfailingly cheerful and does a fantastic job of keeping us all on track.
